A staining agent, mixture of Carminic acid, Aluminum potassium sulfate (Potassium alum) and Deionized water.Used usually for staining of helminths like Acanthocephala

(10.0 g potassium alum dissolved in 200.0 ml distilled water (heated) plus 1.0 g carmine)
