This pretty strong nematode is found in Caecum and Large intestine of Cows.These photos belongs to the worms that were found in North of Iran.

This species is called Nodular worm, because is suggested they are able to cause nodules in the intestinal walls and be pathogenic in cows.

Although i have studied them for two years and found a high prevalence of them among the indigenous cows but i didnt notice any certain pathogenicity or visible nodules, even after pathologic examination.
