Its a standard procedure that can amplify a small amount of template DNA (or RNA) into large quantities in a few hours.

It has several basic components,namely:DNA , Taq polymerase , Primers , Free nucleotides (dNTPs for DNA , NTPs for RNA) ,DMSO , Buffer , MgCl₂
